Situated on the west coast of the island Cala Blanca is one of the newest resorts and offers a variety of accommodation choices from large hotels to villas and apartments. The resort is a popular choice with British holidaymakers with many families returning year after year.
The resort offers many wining and dining options with a good selection of bars and restaurants offering local and international cuisine. The night life in the resort is mainly based around the bars and restaurants with some hotels offering family entertainment.
The beaches in Cala Blanca are great for families with children, with safe shallow waters ideal for swimming and paddling and the soft sand offers a great place to play. A selection of water sports is available here, with snorkelling being one of the most popular activities.

being crowded means there is also plenty to do... there's no shortage of choice. This is quite a crowded resort, there are endless apartment complexes, hotels and villas crammed into its many streets and as such, I can't imagine it's all that easy finding a scrap of available sand on the beach in the height of summer - I wouldn't know as I steer clear of this place in July and August. But being crowded means there is also plenty to do, there are huge pools at apartment complexes, play parks, beach bars, restaurants, sports bars, pubs - there's no shortage of choice.
Protected by low cliffs, the beach is very family friendly, with fine white sands and shallow waters, as well as a playground nearby. There's a great deal of greenery too, with the abundance of palm and pine trees doing the built landscape a favour by hiding some of the concrete.
The beach, and the entire resort for that matter, is easy to navigate even if you've young children with you, with stroller-friendly slopes and wide pavements. The path tracing the low cliffs surrounding the resort makes for a great evening stroll or cycle and on hazy days, you can see the outline of Mallorca's mountains on the horizon. One bar with particularly good sea views is Irish pub, The Blarney Stone.
Of the many restaurants - most serving variations on the same theme - the ones near the beach definitely win in terms of aesthetics (one even has waterslides). You're most likely to find Menorcans at Es Caliu, though, a grill that keeps the keenest of carnivores happy, situated just by the turning into Cala Blanca.
