Situated on the western coast of the island, Los Delfines is a purpose built resort which is popular with families with small children.
The resort has many family friendly bars and restaurants offering a good choice of local and international cuisines as well as fast food options. Holiday makers are well catered for with numerous small supermarkets selling every day essentials as well as the usual gifts and souvenirs.
Evening entertainment is mainly hotel based with some providing music and show. There are numerous bars in the town which open til late, some offering music and entertainment, however there aren't any night clubs.
The sheltered coves offer calm waters for children to paddle and the beaches are great for relaxing and soaking up a few sun rays. For those who want to explore the neighbouring resorts there is a mini train which runs to Cala'n Forcat and Cala 'n Blanes regularly.
Los Delfines is situated approx 50 km from the airport.

Los Delfines fills in the gaps between the beach at Cala en Blanes and the coastline at Cala en Forcat. There's plenty of entertainment in Los Delfines, with rows of bars, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Los Delfines fills in the gaps between the beach at Cala en Blanes and the coastline at Cala en Forcat. It doesn't have a beach of its own, but there are three coves within walking distance to choose from. Most of the apartment complexes, and the swankier villas, have their own swimming pools too.
This is something of a tourist town. In fact, you could easily spend a fortnight here and not bump into a single Menorcan (well, apart from the ones that are working of course). You could really be anywhere, it's not until you head off the main street and explore the coastline that the island's personality emerges. Fortunately there are regular bus connections with Ciutadella and other resorts if you're keen to discover a different side to Menorca.
Naturally, there are upsides to staying in a bustling tourist centre. There's plenty of entertainment in Los Delfines, with rows of bars, shops, supermarkets and restaurants. For children, the waterslides the Aqua Centre make for a great day out - although it is pricey - and there are other activities such as karts too. Many of the bars here are very family friendly, offering entertainment to ensure little ones don't get bored while they wait for their meal. There are many eateries to choose from, if I had to pick one I'd recommend Las Brasas - it's set back from the road so not an obvious choice - as the flame grilled steaks make it popular.
